Kathleen E. Marshall

Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer

 

Kathy Marshall brings 23 years as SVP Managing Director of the Chase Manhattan Bank, where she built and led Lease and Tax Finance, Securitization, Structured Finance, and Corporate Finance Advisory with a $2+ Billion portfolio. As CFO and Head of Risk Management globally across 56 countries and $1 Trillion/day, Kathy managed the trade finance, cash and securities settlement, investment management, and related lending activities across all financial, business planning, operations, technology, credit and regulatory matters. Kathy was lead advisor, investor, and Board Member for tax advantaged transactions and controlled leveraged buyout divestitures and acquisitions for organizations including GATX, Pepsico, Sara Lee, Scott Paper, WR Grace, Unilever, RJR Nabisco, and others. In the Energy arena, Kathy lead the critical assessment of 50 U.S. coal plants for Investment, Operation and Maintenance Overhaul, and Closure Selection working with the North American Reliability Company and the three largest U.S. Coal Plant Utilities. Kathy has also been responsible for a 350 MW natural gas peaking generation acquisition program and over 100 MW of wind and solar project development and finance across utility, commercial, and residential programs.

Ms. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.


Ian Hume

Partner, Chief Engineering and Operations Officer

 

Ian Hume is a highly respected and trusted engineer, designer, constructor, operator and maintainor of waste water, waste treatment, energy, and food processing plants. With extensive success in building and operating state of the art plants that solve for leading industry issues, Ian has worked with municipal, investment grade and private companies as lead manager of the design, building and operating of their most critical plants. Ian was General Manager and Plant Manager for firms including Mars, Inc., McCormick Inc. and Southwest Water and Sewer as well as lead advisor and engineer to over 50 waste water and waste treatment facilities in Europe and the Middle East. In aggregate Ian has designed,built and managed plants aggregating well over 1$Billion in capital investment. Ian was educated at Brunel University,UK with a Bachelors of Technology Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
